Eid-el-kabir: Ondo EKSU Alumni Chairman greets Muslims, urges National Unity

EID-EL-KABIR 2022: ONDO EKSU ALUMNI CHAIRMAN FELICITATES MUSLIMS; APPEALS FOR PEACE AND NATIONAL UNITY

The Executive Chairman, EKSU Alumni Association, Ondo state Chapter, Chief Kemini Doubra, has felicitated with Association’s Muslim faithfuls on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

Chief Doubra enjoined them to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim by allowing their lives to showcase love and compassion.

This was expressed in a goodwill message signed by the Association’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Omoniyi Akinrogunde ‘Romeo’.

According to Chief Doubra: ”as we celebrate this joyous season, let it be a time for reflection, wherein we express love to the needy, promote peace in our country and tolerate one another irrespective of political, ethnic or religious differences.

”We sympathize with the families undergoing pains and bereavement as their loved ones have fallen victims of the daily occurrence of kidnapping, banditry and terrorism perpetrated by criminal elements across the length and breadth of the country. Let us remember them in our prayers.

”We pray Almighty Allah gant our leaders the wisdom to administer the country and overcome the multiple challenges bedevilling Our Nation.

We pray for national solidarity, especially as the 2023 General Elections gather momentum and we anticipate a peaceful transition.

”May the Peace of Almighty Allah be with you and your household”.
