The Ondo state government hosts thousands of entrepreneurs from across the length and breadth of Nigeria courtesy of the Executive Governor of Ondo State Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his commitment to entrepreneurship development in Ondo state in an annual conference tagged ENTREPRENEURS SUMMIT.
This conference usually hosts the largest gathering of Entrepreneurs and is powered by the Ondo State Entrepreneurship Agency ONDEA. This year, thousands of entrepreneurs have confirmed attendance for the Entrepreneurs Summit and the Entrepreneurs Night. Both events hold at the same venue, The International Cultural Events Center (THE DOME) Igbatoro Road Alagbaka Akure and on the same day 7th Oct 2022. The events start at 4 pm and it is packed with an amazing outline of activities.
The theme for the 2022 ENTREPRENEURS SUMMIT is Creating An Enabling Environment. The Summit was graced by high-profile Entrepreneurs across Nigeria who dived deep into the crux of the theme in a bid to shed light on what creating an Enabling Environment means to an entrepreneur and his business.

It is an event much anticipated by Entrepreneurs across Nigeria and is hosted by Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Executive Governor of Ondo State. He is very passionate about Entrepreneurship Development which he believes is a panacea against poverty and it also has a direct positive impact on the Economy and GDP of the State.
The Governor reiterated that truly entrepreneurship is the hope for building the economy by raising and supporting businesses locally. however he noted that creating an enabling environment will take the active collaboration of both the Public and private sector.
Speaking with the Director of P.R and Communications Aje Abisola, she confirmed that the event attracted a massive interest from entrepreneurs across Nigeria who will be traveling into the State just to participate in the hybrid event. It was a pilgrimage of sort as thousands of participants physically participated and even many more joined virtually as the event was live-streamed across ONDEA’s social media platforms.
Due to the strategic partnership with the largest Entrepreneurship Network in Africa and the organization A.Y.E (Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs), this convention has always attracted thousands of participants and engagement yearly. This year, A.Y.E host the Entrepreneurs Night on the same day where entrepreneurs had the opportunity for networking, fun, movies, games and other interesting activities. It gave them the opportunity to connect and collaborate in a more relaxed atmosphere.
This event held on Friday 7th October and all roads lead to the International Events Cultural Center, The Dome, Igbatoro Road Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State for all entrepreneurs in the country.
