Nasarawa Amazons share spoils with Confluence Queens

Nasarawa Amazons played goalless draw against Confluence Queens in Lokoja in match day 13 of the NWFL Premiership at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, kogi State, on Wednesday evening.

The visitors who began the game with a good offensive approach as Tarnum Dooshima , Aweda Titilayo and the host of other tried all they could but no goal.

Tarnum nearly silenced the home fans but no luck on her side as Confluence Queens goalkeeper Linda Jiwuaku stopped the ball from dropping in the net.

As the first half ended goaless.

The second half begin with high pressing with the amazons playing like wounded lions.

The game ended in a barren draw as the Solid Babes will have to wait till the final day of the season to know their super six chances.

But not deterred by the outcome, the Solid Babes are ready to concentrate on the fourth coming Federation Cup competition which is the FA cup 2023.

The tension-soaked clash could yield no further result as both teams shared the points at the end of the day. but leaving Nasarawa Amazons not sure of super six ticket.

Nasarawa Amazons will return home to fine-tune ahead of visiting Adamawa Queens FC on match-day fourteen fixture next weeek.
