Enyimba stroll past Kwara United at home

Kwara United slipped to 1-2 loss against Enyimba Football Club of Aba at their adopted home, Ondo State Sports complex,Akure.

The first half of the encounter had ended in 1-1 with both sides displaying football artistry to the admiration of the spectators at the sporting arena.

Chijioke had the gave Enyimba the lead in the 29minutes after benefited from a pass from his team mate.

Kwara United reacted swiftly  to be awarded a penalty six minute later, Kadiri Samad stepped in and sent the away goal keeper to give his side a leveler.

Both sides kept it tight to ensure it ended in a first half draw, before Chijioke completed his brace to put his side ahead in the 78minutes.

The central referee was not convinced enough to award Kwara United the second penalties in the 85th minute.

Enyimba kept the back line tight to ensure they get away with the maximum points.
