Work begins on Irele LG Mini Stadium

In his commitment to construct a Mini Stadium in Irele Local Government, the Chairman, Mr. Olusegun Ajimotokin has laid the foundation for the construction of the stadium Pavilion.

Ajimotokin while addressing the contractor during the laying of the foundation for the pavilion said the stadium is scheduled for completion in a few months, urging the engineers to redouble their efforts in ensuring the job is delivered on the scheduled period.

The Council boss reiterated that the stadium is aimed at boosting sports infrastructure and making training facilities more accessible to sports enthusiasts in the Local Government, adding that in the coming months, the stadium would contribute significantly to the discovery of talents in sporting activities across the local government and enhance social programs, especially among the Youths.

“When completed, the stadium would accommodate basketball, volleyball and tennis courts”, he stated.

He assured that his government would continue to make judicious use of available resources in the council for the advancement of Irele Local Government and the people.
