Ondo APC Chieftain, Ajipe felicitates Muslims, seeks more prayers for Akeredolu, Nigeria

Eid-el-Kabir: APC Chieftain, Dr Alex Ajipe felicitates Muslims, calls for more prayers for Ondo state Governor, Nigeria

The Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has admonished Muslim faithful to use the Sallah festival to promote unity, tolerance, peaceful coexistence and the spirit of sacrifice.

Ajipe, through a message to the nation’s Muslims on this year’s Sallah by his media Aide Solomon Adewoye, said the country could only fulfill its great potentials as a nation “if the citizens continue to foster unity, peace, security and stability, as well as show greater respect and love for one another.

The Owo born politician urged Muslims not to cease praying for wisdom for Nigeria’s leaders and for security, prosperity and peaceful coexistence for the country.

“As we celebrate Eid al-Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to you and your loved ones. This is a time of great significance, as we commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah”

“May this Eid be a time of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal. May it bring you and your family peace, joy, and prosperity, and reinforce the values of sacrifice, generosity, and compassion that are at the core of islam.”

“This is a moment for sober reflections; I enjoin you to use the period to uphold the spiritual benefit of the celebration by extending a hand of friendship and solidarity across all divides and imbibing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to the higher authority as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and upheld by Prophet Mohammed,” he said.

While wishing the Muslim Ummah a blessed and peaceful Eid el-Kabir celebration, Ajipe reiterated his call for sustained prayers for the leadership of the country at all levels especially to the governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his quick recovery.

“This is an opportunity for us to reflect and pray for our nation; pray for our dear President and our talk and do GOVERNOR Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for God’s guidance and good health and for his quick recovery and pray for all those in leadership positions so that God in his infinite mercy will continue to guide them as they steer the affairs of the country”

“In these challenging times, let us take inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim and strive to be better human beings. Let us come together as a community to support one another and work towards a more just and equitable world”

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all a very happy and blessed Eid al-Adha” Ajipe said
