NWFL Championship: Ekiti Queens move closer to NWFL return

Ekiti Queens FC continue their impressive start at the ongoing NWFL-Championship at the Remo Stars, Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun State after recording a slim 2 -1 victory over Dream Star Ladies in the matchDay 3 of the championship playoffs

Chima Chisom opened the scoring for Ekiti Queens in the 6th minute of the game, Oweseni Bukola equalized in the 39th minute for Dream Star Ladies while Sarafa Tobilola’s second-half strike in the 61st minute sealed the 3 points for the BAORESS Babes.

Ekiti Queens FC now comfortably sit at the top of Group A with 9 points having recorded 3 straight victories to remain unbeaten.

The team will be in action again tomorrow against Dannaz Ladies FC and a victory for them will ensure they remain on course for automatic promotion to the NWFL Top flight next season.
