There was palpable apprehension in Akure, the Ondo State capital as residents and passersby have picketed a house at St Luke’s area of the city.
According to reports via live broadcast by a radio station in Akure, the apprehension was as a result of a woman who allegedly transformed to a Cat.
In the live broadcast, residents could be seen in large numbers in front of a house where the woman was said to be living.
A shop owner in the area who spoke in the live broadcast, said the woman was caught by one of the residents in front of his shop when she was allegedly transforming to human form.
Another residents called on the government and the Deji of Akure to quickly arrest the situation, as people are running out of patience with the belief that the cat-woman is a witch.
