As Ondo State young public speaker, Christopher Bayode Olusa, is seeking to break Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest speech marathon, prominent Nigerians have been visiting him at venue of the programme to give him moral support.
Latest among them is the Ondo State Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Olujimi Oluseye, stormed the venue at 3:45pm in company of some of his aides.
Already Olusa who is targeting 120hours to beat the existing record, has already passed half of the mark.
Olusa is currently giving his speech at the DEJAVU Hotel, Alagbaka Akure, the Ondo State capital.



He kick-started the world record attempt tagged, “From Words to World Records” on Monday September 11, 2023 and must speak for five days to achieve his set goal.
Barr. Olujimi Oluseye, Ondo State PDP Secretary, commended the tenacity of Olusa in embarking on such mission to project good image of Ondo State and Nigeria.
Olujimi said he was impressed with what he saw at the venue, hoping to see Olusa surpassing the existing records.
“I charged the organiser to remain resolute and we pray for a world breaking record which will make our dear sunshine state a grand record breaker,” said BARR. OLUJIMI OLUSEYE.
Speech-a-thon: Olusa halfway to make history
Ondo State young public speaker seeking to break Guinness World Record for the longest speech marathon by an individual, Christopher Bayode Olusa, has spoken for over 60 hours.
The Ajowa Akoko indigene set out to speak for 120 hours to break the current record being held by a Nepali, Ananta Ram, who spoke for 90 hours and 2 minutes in Kathmandu, Nepal from 27th to 31st of August 2018.
Christopher is currently giving his speech at the DEJAVU Hotel, Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State.
