Family announces burial plans for Veteran Broadcaster, ‘Lekan Olanrewaju

Burial Arrangements for late veteran Broadcaster, Deacon Olalekan Olanrewaju popularly called OLORI EBI have been released by the family.

Deacon Olanrewaju, a former staff of Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, OSRC, died on Saturday, 19th of August 2023 at the 67years.

According to the burial arrangement, there will be a lying-in state at his residence, Olanrewaju Adigun close, along Idanre Road, Akure, Ondo state on Thursday, 16th November, 2023. Time is noon.

Commemoration service and a book launch will take place at the same venue on the same day at 3pm.

This will be followed by a service of song at 5pm.

Funeral outing and thanksgiving service are slated for Friday, 17th November, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Adesida Road Akure at 10am.

The body of the late veteran Broadcaster will be interred at his residence, Olalekan Olanrewaju Street, Orita Obele, Akure.

Deacon Olanrewaju was the pioneer producer/anchor of the popular dispute resolution programme “IJOKO OJOGBON, a Yoruba quiz programme “OGBON ORI” and “E GBANI E LAJA” on Ondo State Owned television station, OSRC from where he got the appellation, “OLORI EBI”

The programme “IJOKO OJOGBON” gave late Olanrewaju so much fame in Ondo State and beyond.
