BOWFT: Four NWFL teams to trade tackles in Semi finals

As the third edition of Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT)

enters semi finals, the host team , Edo Queens will today slug it out with the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL)debutant, Remo Stars Ladies in the first semi finals.

The first semi finals match between Edo Queens and Remo Stars will be played at Western Boys High School Mini Stadium by 4pm.

The cracker between both sides will be a repeat of the preliminaries which Edo Queens won 2-1 with two penalties converted by Suliyat Abideen. 

The second semi finals between Bayelsa Queens and Delta Queens will be played simultaneously at 4pm at the UNIBEN sports complex, Ugbowo campus today.

Edo Queens had defeated Heartland Queens 2-1 at the Western Boys High School Mini Stadium to book their place in the semi finals, while Remo Stars Ladies beat tournament’s defending champions, FC Robo 3-1 at the same venue to also set for a semi finals.

Also, at the UNIBEN Sports complex, Ugbowo, Delta Queens defeated Nasarawa Amazons 3-1,While Bayelsa Queens beat Ekiti Queens 4-1 in the first quarter final game also at the same venue.
