Sports Commission: Committee submits report to Adeleke

The 9-man Committee recently set up by Osun State Government to establish a sport Commission and re-organise Osun United and Osun Babes respectively, has submitted its final report, which was received by the Deputy Governor of the State, Prince Kola Adewusi in his office, at weekend

Presenting the report, the Chairman of the Committee, Tunde Popoola expressed hope that the recommendations would be implemented as soon as possible, to ensure that all sporting activities in the State are revitalised.

He further stated that if the report of the Committee is followed religiously, the State contingents will be able to compete favourably with their counterparts everywhere in the months to come.

In his response, the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi thanked the Committee members for a job well done, assuring them that the report will be studied and implemented appropriately.

He promised that it would be submitted to the State House of Assembly for further necessary action in due course.
