A former House of Representatives member , Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin has condoled with the government, people of ondo state and Owo local government over the death of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu CON, who died after a prolonged illness.
Akinfolarin, who represented Odigbo/ Ile Oluji/ Oke Igbo Federal Constituency, in a terse statement on Wednesday, said the death of Arakunrin Akeredolu has denied the state of a fearless, courageous and hard working man.
“I am utterly devastated by the news of the death of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu. He was a charismatic and inspirational leader, who will be fondly remembered for his fierce courage. He relentlessly spoke truth to power and remained consistent till the end. He will be sorely missed.

According to him “Akeredolu’s commitment to securing the south west region from criminal herdsmen led to the creation of Amotekun, was a watershed in the history of Yoruba and indeed Nigeria.
“We have lost a real warrior and a quintessential personality who served the country and Ondo state with distinction
“My condolences to the Akeredolu family, wife, children and the entire people of Ondo State, the Statement read.
