Ondo commissioner for infrastructure, lands, housing resigns |

Ondo State Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Raimi Aminu, yesterday, resigned his appointment.
The commissioner, in his resignation letter, addressed to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Ondo State.

Aminu, who had served as Special Adviser to Akeredolu on Lands, Works and Infrastructure, said that the demise of his boss was the reason for his decision to step down from his position.
He said: “I write to tender my resignation as the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing with effect from today, December 28, 2023.
“This decision is anchored in my conscience as my leader and dear boss, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, joined the Saint Triumphant.
“I sincerely thank our dear Arakunrin and the good people of the state for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet as Senior Special Assistant on Lands and Infrastructure, Special Adviser on Lands, Works and Infrastructure as well as Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing.”
It would be recalled that the Chief Press Secretary to the late governor, Richard Olatunde, had also resigned along with the Special Adviser to Akeredolu on Special Duties and Union Matters, Dare Aragbaye.
According to them, the death of their principal was the reason behind their move, stressing that even in death, they will be loyal to the late Akeredolu.
