The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has joined other well-wishers to congratulate the newly sworn-in Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the 7th Executive Governor of Ondo State.
In a Press Release signed by the Global President of the association, Otunba Bolaji Amusan Latin (JP) described the Governor current elevation as a significant achievement and a testament to his dedication, leadership, and exemplary service to the state and Nigeria as a whole.
The Governor was sworn in following the death of the governor of Ondo, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
While congratulating the Governor, the association is looking forward to a collaboration with the State Government under the leadership of Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
“As you assume your new role, we believe that your wealth of experience, integrity, and passion for the welfare of the people will continue to guide you in leading the state towards progress and prosperity”.
“TAMPAN, as an organization is committed to the growth and advancement of the arts and entertainment industry, looks forward to collaborating with you in further promoting the cultural heritage of Ondo State”.
Meanwhile, TAMPAN commiserated with the people of Ondo State over the death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN describing his death as a rude shock to the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
According to the Release: “We are aware that this moment comes with mixed emotions, as we collectively mourn the unfortunate passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. His loss is deeply felt by the people of Ondo State and the entire nation, and we offer our sincerest condolences to you and the bereaved family”.
TAMPAN commended the laudable contributions of the Late Governor to the development of Ondo state and his unwavering commitment to public service saying Akeredolu’s legacy will forever be remembered.
