Your appointment on merit —Ajipe phones new Ondo Dep. Gov. Adelami


The converner of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS, Chief Dr Alex AJIPE has phoned to congratulate the new deputy governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami urging him to bring his wealth of experience of over two decades to bear in governance.

AJIPE also In his congratulatory message expressed optimism in the capacity of Dr Adelami to join in taking Governor Aiyedatiwa’s government to higher level.

He described the new number two citizen as a man of many parts, adding that Aiyedatiwa’s choice of Adelami was simply putting a round peg in a round hole.

“Your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and not god-fatherism. Your nomination by the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa is a victory for all Ondo state indigenes irrespective of political affiliations as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state.

“I urge you to dare to be different. Emulates our beloved leader and mentor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who started the struggle but unable to finished it. A lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you sir, we expect that you will hit the ground running as you face this daunting task.

“The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make Owo people proud of you. Once again, congratulations Your Excellency and thanks for your tenacity, steadfastness and consistent courage,” Ajipe stated.

AJIPE further appealed to the citizens of the state to give maximum support and cooperation to Mr. Governor and his new Deputy and also tasked the governor to work hard in taking the state to greater heights.
