Access Bank CEO dies in Helicopter Crash

Herbert Wigwe, the group chief executive officer of Access Holdings Plc, was involved in a helicopter crash in the United States, on Friday.

Wigwe, his wife, son and  other people were in the helicopter when it crashed in California near the Nevada border, as well as Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group).

Sources said the chopper was headed to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night. The US government confirmed six passengers were onboard, however, no survivors has been found.
