APC guber primary: Akoko Northwest agog as Oke begins consultations

Okeagbe, in Akoko North West local government area of Ondo State, was agog on Thursday 14th March, 2024, as the people of the area trooped out in their large numbers to welcome Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, to their midst.

The three-thousand-capacity hall of the town was full to its beam as party executive members were filled with joy, and showed their loyalty and unalloyed supports for the actualisation of the  God’s own project.

The party chairman of the local government, Kehinde Obanla,who led other executive members to the hall to welcome the team said, Oke has paid the price and time has come for the party and all executive Members to rally round Chief Oke to become the Flagbearer of the party in becoming the governor of the state.

“our conclusion has been that the name of the aspirant is sellable

“Oke has been the best among the aspirants because he has been helping the party members far before now, so time has come to support him too”

While responding, Chief Oke appreciated  the people of the local government for their large turn out

“am massively impressed at this large turnout, it is so massive, thank you all” he said.

Furthermore,  he assured the people of the state that if given the opportunity to fly the ticket of the party, he will use his wealth of experience to better the lots of the masses

He also said more attention will be concentrated on the grassroots, and make life meaningful for them

He emphasized that he will make the roads to the rural areas accessible, and promised to serve the people

” I have come to serve you and I will never disappoint you, give me your support “.

“God who spared my life to be alive has a reason, and the reason is to serve you ” Oke said.

He used the event to outline his programmes for the State, which include; support to women, farmers, widows, and creation of farm clusters to pull people back to the farm.

Princess Opeyemi Funmilayo, the women leader of the council, said the personality and the leadership quality of Oke is unique and unquantifiable in all ramifications.

“I bet it with you,  Olusola Oke can’t be compared with other contestants in all standards looking at his intellectual capability”.
