Owo LG monarchs hosts Ondo Finance Commissioner, drum support for Aiyedatiwa

It was a carnival like when the new Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Omowumi Isaac was given massive receptions by residents and traditional rulers of various communities under Owo local government area of the state.

Omowumi’s visitation to the monarchs gave members and leader of “WUMI Network” and Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot Soldiers (LACO-SF), opportunity to drum support for the election for the election of the Governor in April and November, 2024.

The Commissioner who showcased her home popularity with the mobile campaign and Royal homages to the monarchs

Omowumi Isaac who is the first Commissioner from Owo local government area, paid homages to the traditional rulers of Uso, Emure-Ile, Iyere, Ijebu-Owo and others.

Elemure of Emure-Ile, Oba Simeon Adedubaje-Adeyefa hailed the Commissioner for the Royal visit and promised that monarchs in the area would mobilise full support for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

One of the LACO mobiliser who spoke with our correspondent, said “they moved from Oloba of Uso to Kabiyesi Elemure of Emure Land who specifically mentioned that it has never happened before, that a commissioner in Owo will come to receive a royal blessing and also thank Mr Governor that he has made a right choice and strongly prayed for her and the government. The kabiyesi also assured the commissioner that Emure will deliver votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the coming election.

“We started at Uso where hundreds of supporters matched from Uso Grammar School to Oloba of Uso palace, Oba Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade

“He (Oloba) was very excited and prayed for her success, the king used the opportunity to thank Mr Governor for choosing the best woman, Mrs Omowumi Isaac for the job. And used the opportunity to assure the Commissioner that Usoland will give the Governor, Hon Aiyedatiwa, 100% votes.

“The train move to Owo where thousands of supportera have gathered at Imade College in Owo and held solidarity walk to the palaces of Oba Ojomo Luda and Oniyere of Iyere, Oba Alaba Ebiyanmi Adako.

Speaking during the reception, Mrs Omowunmi Isaac expressed appreciation to Governor Aiyedatiwa for counting her worthy for the appointment, appealing to Owo people to give massive support to the Governor to pick the APC ticket and win the November gubernatorial election.
