2024 guber poll: Massive turnout as PDP’s Agboola engages Ondo Youths, Students

Ahead of the 2024 election, the residence of the PDP governorship Candidate, His Excellency Alfred Agboola Ajayi, was filled with much excitement and energy as youths and students gathered to engage in a lively interactive session.

The former deputy governor, now the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming governorship election, seized the opportunity to connect with the future leaders of Ondo state to express his vision for the state ahead of the elections.

Agboola emphasized the need to invest in quality education and skill development. He pledged to revamp the educational sector, ensuring that schools are adequately funded, teachers are motivated, and students have access to modern learning facilities.

Agboola encouraged active participation in governance. He promised to appoint young people into key positions and involve them in decision-making processes.

During the session, students and youths expressed their views and concerns.
Notably, Sen. Ayomide Rufus, Senate President of National Asssociation of Ondo State Students, expressed his key demands on the development of our students.

Also, the Secretary General of National Association of University Students (NAUS), Comr. Samuel Agbelusi, speaking on behalf of the University Students in Ondo State presented the demands stating the lack of quality learning facilities across the institutions in the state and urged the PDP governorship candidate to prioritize the development of our university students through innovative policy and action roadmap for our education sector.

Lastly, Comr. Olawale Ijanusi, the coordinator of Agboola youth and Student movement, expressed utmost confidence in the candidacy of His Excellency Agboola Ajayi stating his readiness to ensure your inclusiveness in his governance and ensure a conducive environment for youths to strive in their business.

In response, Agboola Ajayi assured that these voices expressed would shape his policies.

Agboola Ajayi’s interactive session with youths and students was a testament to his commitment to a better Ondo State. As the election draws near, his engagement with the younger generation sends a powerful message: their dreams matter, and their aspirations will drive the state’s progress.
