The Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable (Chief) Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi has felicitated Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-kabir, urging them to sustain their prayers for the nation and her leaders.
Chief Oladiji, in a sallah message, urges Muslims to continue to leave in harmony with other religious faith.
He stressed the need for ceaseless prayers for the sustenance of the relative peace across the country.
The Speaker equally called for prayers for the leadership of the country, requesting Allah to grant them the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to lead the nation aright.
Chief Oladiji who noted the current economic challenges urges Muslim faithful to remember to share with the needy, in their celebration, in line with the Islamic doctrine, as dictated by the eid-el-kabir.
While calling for maximum resilience in view of the current economic situation, Chief Oladiji called for moderate celebration in tune with the reality of the time.
