Another glowing feather has been added to the cap of honour of Barr Daramola Adesuyi, the founder of Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) in recognition of his impactful programs and initiatives in the area of educational development aimed at supporting the efforts of Ondo State Government in that regard by the Ondo West Local Government Universal Basic Education Authority (UBEA) with an outstanding Award of recognition.
This award among numerous ones is special in that it recognizes the educational support initiative of ‘DAF’ aimed at partnering with education stakeholders within the local governments and the state in ensuring that every child has access to quality education, both at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
The distribution of over 3,000 free copies of the Past Questions Compendium to help pupils preparing for Common Entrance examinations, annual ‘DAF’ Scholar Award initiative, provision of financial support to underserved students and supply of free school materials, all of which underscored fostering a culture of excellence and encouraging academic achievements are humbly dotted achievements routed to the philanthropic nature of Barr Daramola Adesuyi.
In order to show the weight and merit of this particular Award, the donated playgrounds to public schools to aid in the cognitive development of students by ‘DAF’ is a big factor worthy of recognition and encouragement by all.
The Ondo West Local Government Education Secretary, Barr Bada Maruf while presenting the “Award of Best Philanthropist of the Year in Basic Education” to Barr Daramola Adesuyi, remarked that the impact of the DAF’s work is profound, and Ondo West Local Government Universal Basic Education Authority is deeply grateful for DAF’s dedication to improving the educational landscape of the local council.
On his part, Barr Daramola Adesuyi expressed his appreciation to the Ondo West Local Government UBEA for the honour done him and he assured them that the gesture will serve as a catalyst to do more towards the educational development of Ondo Kingdom and Ondo State by extension.
