Ilaje Women Forum disowns Mrs Stella Orogbemi over baseless allegations against LG boss, Hon. Toyin Ogungure & Ondo lawmaker Hon. Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu

ILAJE WOMEN FORUM HAS THREATENED TO DISASSOCIATE THEMSELVES FROM MRS STELLA OROGBEMI AS THEY FROWN AT HER INSUBORDINATION AND BASELESS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HON. TOYIN OGUNGURE AND HON. (PRINCESS) OLAWUMI FAYEMI-OBAYELU.

Says — Be a virtues woman or face the consequences. Your Baseless Allegations against Ilaje Council Chairman and Hon. Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu will land you in trouble as we will dissociate ourselves from you totally

The attention of the Ilaje Women Forum has been drawn to the statements made by Mrs Stella Orogbemi regarding the arrest and detention of her husband, Mr Banji Orogbemi, a member of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP). These unfounded allegations attempt to discredit Hon. Toyin Ogungbure Agbeni, the Chairman of Ilaje Local Government, and Hon. Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu, the lawmaker representing Ilaje Constituency 2 in the Ondo State House of Assembly.

It is imperative to state categorically that Mrs Orogbemi’s claims are not only false but are affronts to the rule of law and the integrity of our state’s security services and judiciary, especially the Magistrate Court, which rightfully ordered the remand of Mr Orogbemi by due legal process. Any insinuation that the detention of Mr. Orogbemi was politically motivated or engineered to silence dissenting voices is baseless and intended to mislead the public.

The Ilaje Local Government Chairman, Hon. Toyin Ogungbure-Agbeni and Hon. Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu are distinguished women of impeccable character, whose contributions to the Ilaje nation and Ondo State at large are widely recognized. Their elevation to their respective positions of leadership is a testament to their competence, dedication, and integrity.

These esteemed women are not only respected ambassadors of the Ilaje nation but are also revered across Nigeria for their influence, service, and commitment to the growth and development of their people.

Hon Ogungbure and Hon. Fayemi have consistently upheld the highest standards of governance, working tirelessly to represent the interests of their constituents. Any attempt to defame their personalities and achievements, as Mrs Orogbemi has done, is not only unsubstantiated but also a deliberate effort to tarnish the image of these credible leaders.

We wish to clarify that the legal issues involving Mr Banji Orogbemi are entirely within the purview of the law, and the judiciary should be allowed to carry out its duties without interference or intimidation. The rule of law must be respected by all citizens, irrespective of their political affiliations.

We urge the general public to disregard the misleading claims made by Mrs. Orogbemi and remain assured that the Ilaje Local Government Council and its representatives will continue to serve with integrity, transparency, and dedication to the development of Ilaje and Ondo State.

As for Mrs. Stella Orogbemi, we will warn you to refrain from commenting at this time as anything you say might be considered inappropriate and slander/defamation of character which is also punishable by law. All we want is justice, if your husband is innocent, he can prove himself in the court of law.

The women of Ilaje will not stand idle at this time. As mothers, we will not let our communities be filled up with negative characters of some persons.

AYEMAFUGE ILAJE!!!
AWA YEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Signed,

Mrs Ranti Esejuwon
Office of the Chairman,
Ilaje Women Forum.
