ONDO POLICE AGOG AS COMMAND DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
The Ondo State Police Command witnessed another joyous moment as the State Command decorates senior officers on promotion.
The former Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations; John Agwoye was elevated to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police while the Officer in charge of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad :Kabiru Akinroye was promoted to the rank of an Assistant Commissioner of Police .
Sixteen Superintendents of Police were also promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendents of Police, amongst whom are DPO’s Ijoka, Otu, Bolorunduro, Okeigbo etc.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Abayomi Peter Oladipo while congratulating the affected officers remarks that more rank signifies bigger responsibilities.
He urged all promoted officers to be role models to their subordinates wherever they are posted and a good ambassador of the Nigeria Police
Deputy Commissioner of Police Agwoye on behalf of other promotees expressed their gratitude to the Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police and Police Service Commission for finding them worthy for consideration of their new and enviable rank, promised to do their best in the interest of the force and the nation at large.
