Falana’s NGO set to empower vulnerable groups with business skills

Girls to Women Research and Development Centre, non governmental organisation is set to train hundreds of persons with special needs with business development skills in Akure from 3rd to 5th July, 2025.

The 3 day training which is organised in partnership with Enterprise Development Center with funds from Mastercard Foundation aims at empowering the selected participants on skills such as business plan development, proposal writing, suport in accessing funding opportunities, acess to Market and acess to business development experts.

In her remarks, the Executive Director of Girls to Women Research and Development Centre, Mrs Olamide Falana expressed excitement at the forthcoming program which will empower special persons across various clusters.

The state branch of Joint National Association of People with disabilities (JONAPWD) was carried along in the planning and mobilisation for the program.
