UNIMEDTH Gets Substantive Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee.
The Teaching Hospital’s top management has announced the substantive appointment of Professor Akinwunmi Akinbodewa, a Consultant Nephrologist, as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of UNIMED Teaching Hospital.
This appointment follows approval from the Teaching Hospital’s Supervising Authority .
About Professor Akinwunmi Akinbodewa has been functioning as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee in an acting capacity before his substantive confirmation. He iis a renowned clinician and Consultant Nephrologist -A University Professor of Nephrology . Immediate past Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital , Former Chief Medical Director of Kidney Care Center, one of the facilities amalgamated to form UNIMED Teaching Hospital.
There is high hope that Professor Akinbodewa will leverage his wealth of experience in this new role.
