Ugele Community gets new Olu in Akure North

A new Olu of Ugele Community in Akure North local government area of Ondo State has emerged.

He is High Chief Ayo Osunalade who polled 5votes to defeat his sole opponent, Gbenga Agbesuyi in the selection process held on Thursday 30th June, 2022 in the town.

SUNSHINETRUTH gathered that the five kingmakers in the community namely: 1. Adefisayo Adejimi —Olisa ugele; 2. Muyiwa Ileke —Odopetu Ugele; 3. Abisona James —Elemo ugele; 4.Kayode Adeoye — Aro Ugele and 5.Ademola Oni —Ojomu Ugele, all voted for Osunalade.

The process was monitored by government officials and security operatives.

High Chief Osunalade who expressed delight over his emergence, vowed to strive to ensure rapid development at Ugele Community in no distance time.
