Insecurity: Barr Daramola Adesuyi donates Solar Powered CCTV to Police in Ondo East

INCESSANT ARSON ATTACKS ON BOLORUNDURO COMMUNITY: BARR DARAMOLA ADESUYI DONATES SOLAR POWERED CCTV CAMERAS TO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE DIVISIONAL HEADQUARTERS BOLORUNDURO ONDO EAST LOCAL GOVERNMENT

As a result of the incessant arson attacks on Bolorunduro community in Ondo East Local Government, the founder of Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF), Barr Daramola Adesuyi who is also a proud son of the community has graciously donated solar powered CCTV cameras through Ondo East Youth Alliance for Progress to the Bolorunduro Police Division in a sole bid to reinforce the security apparatus’ strategies to curb future occurrences.

It would be recalled that unknown persons who were suspected to have wrecked havoc by putting fire on the Local Government Secretariat office complex and accident emergency office, a house and shop within the span of 8 months had failed at three other attempts to burn down people’s property within Bolorunduro community. Recently, these unscrupulous elements have succeeded in completely burning down a car belonging to an individual in the community.

These heinous and barbaric activities have been condemned by the Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji and other prominent figures of the local council.

In order not to allow this ugly situation to degenerate into a complete breakdown of law and order thereby putting the community in the bad light of security challenges, Barr Daramola Adesuyi sees the donation of the solar powered CCTV cameras as modern security monitoring tools to enhance the security of lives and property which is in tandem with DAF’s mission commitment to building resilient communities where everyone can thrive as well as collaborating with community members and stakeholders with the aim of creating a brighter future for all, in line with UN SDG 1’s goal of eradicating poverty and fostering inclusive development.

During the presentation of the modern security equipment, Barr Daramola Adesuyi who spoke through one of DAF’s team members, Mr Lanre Olubodun, said the donation of the solar powered cameras is part of DAF’s ongoing efforts to address immediate needs while promoting long-term sustainability among Ondo East Local Government communities.

“It is my hope that this gesture will go a long way in aiding and strengthening the security architecture in Bolorunduro community and her environs.” Barr Daramola stated

He equally seized the opportunity to salute the efforts of political and community leaders such as the Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji, the Ranking Ondo Federal Lawmaker at House of Representatives in Abuja, Hon. Abiola Makinde PhD MHR, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Wale Akinlosotu, Agba ẹgbẹ́, Chief Agboola Kelly, and the Ondo East Youth Alliance for Progress among others, to nip the criminal acts in the bud forthwith.

While presenting the solar powered CCTV cameras on behalf of Barr Daramola Adesuyi, the Acting Secretary of Ondo East Youth Alliance for Progress, Otunba Akintayo Abayomi Akinrinmade was highly optimistic that the gesture will contribute to the enhancement of the security architecture of the Bolorunduro community.
