Three young and able-bodied boys who are notorious for breaking into residents homes in Irun-Akoko in akoko north west local government area of ondo state have been caught in the early hours of Tuesday.
The criminals according to eyewitness allegedly broke into five houses where they carted kegs of palm oil, electronics and various sums of money.
It was also gathered that previous arrests made by the officers of the town’s divisional police station were not properly handled.
Youths in the town who expressed disappointment over activities of the burglars, warned that failure to prosecute the boys will cause disaffection between them and the police.
When contacted, the Divisional police officer was said to be away on official duty.
As at the time of filing this report, the three burglars are cooling off their feet inside the cell.
