Before the visitors drew level with them in the 75minutes, Sunshine Stars efforts to restore their lead were not successful as they rued many chances created.
The coach insisted his side played very well in the first half, saying they created a lot of chances which they couldn’t utilize to their advantage.
“It’s a difficult one from this kind of situation where you played very well with many chances created but ended this way”.
“The players introduced in the second half of the game gave good account of themselves, this is a Nigerian league where you can win away and lose at home, we are going to sit tight and prepare very well and go to Eket against Akwa United and fight for the three points at stake”.
Gombe United coach, Mohammed Babaganaru said :”We thank God for the point we got here, We have dropped about six point at home, the point we picked here is a moral booster and very important to us.”
“Our host played very well, they are a very good side, but were just unlucky today”
